Kathryn Bernardo and Philip Salvador will appear in the first episode of Maalaala mo Kaya (MMK) for 2012. The story will show the strong bond between Ete (Philip) and Dang (Kathryn), especially when Ete became mentally ill. During their family’s difficult times, it was Dang who stood strong for her father even if her mother was giving-up already.
Also starring in the episode are Snooky Serna, Janus del Prado, Alexa Ilacad, Ogie Escanilla, and Kristoff Meneses. It was researched by Mae Rose Balanay, written by Ruel Montañez, and directed by Dado Lumibao.
