Selena Gomez performed her latest single “The Heart Wants What It Wants” last November 23 in the American Music awards. It was a spectacular performance that trended worldwide on Twitter. She looked gorgeous in a flimsy gown and her moving rendition was enhanced with the supernatural images in the background.

Kim Yoo-Jung is Korea’s Teen Sweetheart

Kim Yoo-jung, the young actress from South Korea possesses everything to make it big in the entertainment industry - a pretty face, charming personality, and unmistakable acting prowess. Born on September 22, 1999 in Seoul, South Korea., this cute and talented girl was discovered at 5 years old in a contest where she grabbed the popularity award even though she was not a contestant (the contestant was her sister).

Her first appearance on TV was in 2003 when she was cast for a commercial for a local biscuit brand. Her acting career began a year after and appeared in films such as Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, All for Love, The Chaser, and Haeundae.

Her acting career on TV started in 2006 and quickly emerge as one of the most in-demand child actresses in Korea. Her first acting award as Best Child Actress was for for action-adventure series Iljimae.  She became even more popular when she appeared in  the period drama Moon Embracing the Sun.

In 2014, Kim's performance as a teenage bully in Elegant Lies drew critical acclaim. She then played a traditional funeral singer in the single-episode Drama Special anthology and was cast in the horror mystery Room 731, an English-language graduate thesis film by USC filmmaker Youngmin Kim. This was followed by a starring role in the period drama Secret Door.

James Reid is the Hottest Teen Idol Today

One of the fastest-rising teen idols today is James Reid, an actor born in Sydney, Australia on May 11, 1993. His father was an Australian and his mother a Filipina and he stayed in Australia until he was 16. Their family had to move back to the Philippines because of financial trouble. He was introduced as one of the casts of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Clash 2010 where he eventually emerges as the Big Winner. His movies paired with Nadine Lustre  such as  Diary ng Panget: The Movie, and Talk Back and You're Dead were box-office hits. He is also a singer, dancer, guitar-player, and a swimmer.

Nadine Lustre is Newest Teen Sweetheart

Nadine Alexis Paguia Lustre, better known as Nadine Lustre  is the newest teen sensation. She was born on October 31, 1993 in Quezon City. She is best known for her role as Eya Rodriguez in the film adaptation of Diary ng Panget and as Georgina Evangelista in the television remake of the Bagets film series.  Lustre was a member and oftentimes lead vocalist of the all-female group called Pop Girls. Eventually, she left the group and became a solo singer. She is now paired  to James Reid. Her parents are Myraquel Paguia-Lustre and Ulyses Lustre. She is often compared to Kathryn Bernardo because of their resemblance.

 The newest addition to GMA Network’s roster of handsome and talented young actors is fifteen-year old, Miguel Tanfelix. He was born on September 21, 1998.

He joined Starstruck Kids on 2004 and emerged as the First Prince. He has appeared in several TV shows and movies such as Mulawin, Majika, I Will Always Love You, etc.

He went on a hiatus on showbiz for a while but made a comeback recently as he currently appears in primetime series, Nino.

The real name of new teen actress to watch out for, Bianca Umali is Maria Isadora Bianca Umali. She was born March 2, 2000 in Manila, Philippines. She started her career as a commercial model and is now a contract artist of GMA 7. She has appeared in several GMA 7 shows such as Tropang Potchi, Paroa and Mga Basang Sisiw. She is set to appear in the upcoming series in GMA 7, Nino.
