Julie Anne San Jose A Musical Princess


Julie Anne San Jose is definitely one of the most talented and versatile young stars of this generation. She was born on May 17, 1994 in Quezon City. Blessed with a singing prowess, her career started at the tender age of three (3) when she became a part of the children’s show, Batibot. She took a break from singing at age 7 to focused on studies. It can be said that her real entry into showbusiness was in 2005 when she joined the Popstar Kids, a TV singing competition for children where she emerged as one of the top five (5) winners.




As part of her prize, she joined Sugarpop, the show's spin-off band which was able to record two albums, Sugarpop and Sugarpop (Repackaged). She also became one of the hosts of Planet Q, a children’s show. She has performed for variety shows such as SOP and Party Pilipinas.



She first tried acting through the telenovela, Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan. Julie Anne San Jose is also the singing voice behind the theme songs of GMA shows such as Dyesebel, The Last Prince, and Pilyang Kerubin. She is really musically gifted as she can play instruments such as piano, drums, flute, lyre and guitar.

Julie Anne San Jose is paired with Elmo Magalona in a short film produced by Party Pilipinas, called "RedMask" (trilogy). Their onscreen chemistry is very evident so supporters of the Julie Anne and Elmo love team grew.

The second show they did in Party Plipinas is a rap musical entitled "Elmo and Julie Anne: A Wazak Love Story". It is based on William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet".

She is currently taking up Communication Arts at Angelicum College – Quezon City.
